I would like to see the Pacers find a way to swindle Robert Williams from the Trailblazers. Dude is a lob threat, and is a great rebounder and 3 level defender. Robert Williams is a great switch defender as-well. I honestly hope they could pull that off because I think it's very possible.

People seem to forget that the Pacers have Oscar Tshiebwe coming soon. He just won Rookie of the year in the G league, where he averaged 17 points and 17 rebounds. Not to mention he is 6:8 and weighs 260. Guys go to the g-league for playing time. The Pacers did not want him riding the bench, they wanted him playing. We also need a second team point guard. When Haliburton went down everybody did fine until the last 3 minutes. Then they chocked. If we had someone like Byron Scott back in the day, it would be huge. So we have to get that second strong point guard. We need one more big scorer. I would hate to see Mathurin leave, but the Pacers could package him with maybe Myles Turner and a first round pick and get a very nice player, if they do their homework and get the right guy. Someone like Middleton from the Bucks, maybe not him but someone like that. No Kevin Durants or and anything stupid like that. Klay Thompson would be a huge pick-up. Even Draymond if they could make that happen. I would also be happier with Jarrett Allen in the middle then Turner. That is a deal Cleveland might just make, Jarrett Allen and Donovan Mitchell for Myles Turner, Benedict Mathurin, and a 1st round pick

Sadley I feel the best way to improve and advance would be to trade Myles Turner. I'm sure as playoffs progressed, and being a Big his Legs and Back just got to worn out for him to be the force he can be. Just wasn't consistent enough to move forward. Need a center that can rebound, defend and score. Plus be more physical and mentally tuff. With Benedict Muthurin returning, and getting a more reliable Center the Pacers can finally win a Championship 🏆.

Gotta be mentally tuff to push through the pain, but he didn't. They should be able to replace him and get someone more reliable. Someone that can at least Rebound and guard the rim.

@@yetisk9226 I've been advocating to trade him for years. It's mainly the Indy locals who love him. Because he is a great guy and loves the city, but at the end of the day it's about winning games and he can't be paid like your 3rd best player. The occasional flashes he has blinds them of the realities. He is a terrible rebounder. He isn't a good defender, he is just a good shot blocker. Below average passer. Can't handle the ball that well, his shooting is solid but it isn't like he is dirk or something. In today's NBA unless you have a dominant center, it's better to invest your money in wing players and roll with cheap dudes who hustle and rebound.

I told Tyrese in a chat that the pacers need to run more plays off the pick and roll for Turner..he's big..he can shoot he has surprising handles...but now he is just out there lost at times in the offense..not sure of what to do..and the players pace is great and fast but they dont know how to slow down and make every possession count during winning time.
