There's a slider in the settings before you start a MyLeague/MyGM that lets you control how much players regress. I feel like changing that is a MUST, otherwise this is just gonna happen all the time. Doesn't matter if a 29-34 yo player just had a good season+not getting too injured or not. They will always regress immensely.

While it may seem unrealistic with some moves I do think they are closer to reality than u think, I felt all along that Carlisle isn’t good enough of a coach with his very questionable decisions and poor rotations because I felt Jarace Walker deserved minutes as a lottery pick and in the little amount of time given to him he seem to show more impact on both ends of the floor in which isn’t surprising because he was a lottery pick and was regarded as the future starting forward upside wise, I believe Mathurin is a rising star and key duo piece in the backcourt with Haliburton and not sixth man, in real life he was out for the season with injury but he’s heading into his 3rd year next year so if he take a leap that would be crucial for him earning that starting spot over Nembhard and also felt that the front court needs to probably be upgraded from Turner because his below average rebounding and inconsistent offense and KAT like mentality/skill of being a post scorer in terms of what we seeing in that mavs vs wolves series, and Siakam not being a guy that can win u games and take over and too inconsistent on defense + might need more of a perimeter threat next to Haliburton, in real life I felt that they should consider going after Markkanen if available, including Ingram, the Bam move I never thought about but could be far fetched so idk but I do think it’s a chance Isaiah Jackson take another leap in his skill and could take Turner spot because if u seen his best games his upside is high if he puts in the work but if not they’ll have to search the market carefully to upgrade and not downgrade
