I will never condone cheating as someone who has been cheated on. But I have also committed that horrible act and it was a conscious decision I made, but my choices and reasons behind it had a lot more to do than something physical or self indulgent attitude. This is a good interview. He was open with the women, talking about his experiences as a child growing up with a father raising him and his siblings. as for lucas and brooke in oth... correct me if im wrong... lucas and brooke got back together in season 3, right? that was in 2006, if im not mistaken... chad and sophia were already separated, and chad was already engaged to kenzie. so the point is, the storyline had nothing to do with their personal lives.brooke and lucas would have ended in the show, whether chad and sophia broke up or not in reality. let's face it, it was always lucas and peyton from the pilot episode... even Mark Schwahn made that pretty clear in his interview at the beginning of season 6.

Not true. Peyton and Jake had a solid relationship in Season 2, and Lucas and Brooke were together (albeit in a love triangle with Peyton) in Season 1, then Lucas really grew as a character when he fell for Brooke all over again in Season 2. People are forgetting that it wasn't only Chad and Sophia's marriage that made people love Brucas. Brooke and Lucas were great together because both characters finally matured through their interactions with each other. Then Mark Schwahn brought the Peyton melodrama back into the mix in late Season 3 and completely ruined the show.

Yeah. And the whole Lucas/Peyton/Brooke love triangle almost ruined the whole show, as you could LITERALLY SEE the chemistry between Lucas and Peyton ever since the PILOT episode!!! Even when Lucas was together with Brooke, he STILL had more chemistry with Peyton!!! You could literally see that Lucas and Peyton were endgame!!! Lucas and Brooke were kinda boring to be honest. There was no chemistry. It was only fun time. But that's it. Brucas had nothing in common, so they couldn't really talk about things. Brucas was doomed to fail in the end.
