The kids are all so positive and don’t have massive expectations of themselves to be like their dad, I love how grounded they are, and that comes from two great parents who did it the hard way from a young age. Keep up the great work guys loving this channel.

I grew up idolizing you Chad I'm 33 now and it was sad to see you go. I loved how you stayed in it as long as you did though. Cause you were still having fun. You're the reason I ride, and my kids ride as well. The greatest bonding time my family shares, is on two wheels. Looks like you're raisin em right Chad! Just found this KZbin channel. Time to play catch-up!! #cr22!!!

I love kiah's response to tate saying he was next to last, her saying "but we're learning" that's so awesome to hear a kid her age looking on the bright side and also standing up for her brother. Cheers reed's 🤙

You two are what moto parents SHOULD be! You encourage and support your kids no matter what place they come in or how they ride. And you are committed to working on the fundamentals of riding and racing, which will make them better and safer! Good job to you two! And great job to your kids for racing and riding and not throwing tantrums because they didn't finish where they "were supposed to". Good parenting!

Love this video. It's so great to see a dad who is supportive and yet NOT over the top like some of the dudes out there can be with their kids. And, the kids are fantastic. No sign of the, "My dad is Chad Reed", attitude that you could see. Bravo guys. Good parenting leads to great kids.

the filming and the editing of these video's are fantastic, just a true down to earth racing family, the Australian nature really shows in you guys. great to see you got the win chad might of been a bit embarrassing if ya didn't thou. i bet the other guys love racing you too because i would and id'e be so proud to come last just knowing i rode with ya. that's the Australian in me. cheers keep'em coming.

Many years ago , chad was riding at cycle ranch in Floresville Texas and took some time to teach my son how to read the lines and then showed him on the track with my son following on his bike. That memory has been with us for a long time. Wish chad all the success in the world and know he has what it takes to teach his kids . No doubt we will be seeing a younger reed in the winners circle before long.

Being one of the fortunate people who has the privilege of watching these kids firsthand at Moto40 I just want to give Chad and Ellie a huge nod for raising such level headed kids. The video doesn't do justice just how fast these kids go either. It is amazing to watch them learning in person at the speeds they actually go. The Reed family are such great people.

I remember being a kid and racing with my family at Lake Macquarie ( the lakes ). Used to watch chad reed blitz the pack and always whip the middle tabletop. So cool to watch this now and can’t wait to do it some day with my kids.

Yo these videos are so awesome, glad i still get to see Reed do cool things on a motorcycle, i was afraid we'd never see him after he quit racing. There is just nobody else with style that smooth. And getting to watch their kids learn and grow is super cool aswell, im expecting the two-two plate to be back on the gate on TV in a couple of years! ;)

I have an old picture from when I was at Budds Creek in 2011 when Chad Reed beat Ryan dungey for their overall and it's Father's Day weekend Chad is holding tate above his head on the podium and now it is cool to see this family on the East Coast and riding our local tracks like lake sugar tree my home track and places like that is just way too cool to see them together as a family all respect the reeds and God bless them!! What a dream life after a career like that!!

interesting. You’ve been in a sense, a hero for awhile in the sport/at-least anyone alive now watching KZbin ….. now you’re a hero with your kids and it truly is a beautiful thing to see manifest. I thought you were the bees knees growing up, against Ricky, Stewart, it doesn’t matter you name it. And I’m just a guy. It’s amazing to watch your boys get on a bike like there dad did. Im currently in that very early stage of teaching my son how to ride (he’s 7…. Months old). Regardless just know the fans that have always had your back are the ones watching these videos, compared (in no disrespectful way) to say the Deegans. The boys don’t have huge experience yet, obviously, but it’s awesome to see the family dynamic. I’d really recommend interacting with the fans/commenters here online because they will back you forever, and the family name. It definitely is the “little things” like having a social media manager who you hire to at least send a handful of responses online to fans. I say this because I’ve been a fan, and with your retirement, engaging with the community will only help and give positive reinforcement towards the “reed family’s adventure” a possibility to flourish (since everyone Is trying to do the same thing with their kids online right now….) I see an awesome dad, mom and family here and it’s a joy to watch. Best of luck and keep loving every moment! I know watching my son crawling toward me in excitement makes me the happiest guy, I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like when he turns 1-2-3….. I might have bought him a pw while he was still in moms tummy… enough of that. Enjoy and keep kicking ass reed family!

I have been there a couple of times and watched them at the track. This is the way all parents should be with their kids. Motocross can be the best thing for a family. Getting to spend time together, and enjoying it. I hate when I hear dad or mom yelling at the kid, that takes all the fun out of it. Oh yes I can tell you for sure that this is the way Chad and Ellie handle it all day. The kids are the best, the way they act and take care of there stuff 👏. There is no stuff edited out so everything looks good. Chad and Ellie are a real class act. So parents and kids pay attention !!!!!!! 😍
