This is why Chad is so awesome, not just his natural talent, but his massively respectable humility and his appreciation of all kinds of music that came before him. I want to have a beer with Chad Smith.
@adammoore19105 жыл бұрын
I come from a family of music. Won't get into the details, bands, etc... But! Music hit a few people in my dad's side including him all at the age of 5 where they picked up their first instrument and complicated difficult to play horns and others... They kept that one solo instrument for life and were true professionals with that instrument but because of the pure natural born musical talent and flawless musical rhythm that allowed them to naturally be able to pick up drum sticks, piano, guitar, bass, etc... Because music notes was their second language before age ten, that opens up knowing how to play many other common instruments needing only a couple hours to get used to using that particular item. This all was picked up by me genetically I'm sure becshse I've absolutely loved a huge number of genres... Because I can spot true talent and something special when I hear it. Rock, metal, pop, jazz, electronica, drum and base, trance, house, dub Step, two step, even classic country, modern country, Golden oldies, folk, hillbilly, rap, hip hop and R&B I can tell you with every genre when I hear legit talent and not manufactured bullshit like Taylor swift, Britney Spears, and all those ultra famous ultra rich mega stars that dominate the most popular radio stations, TV, completely get most girls from elementary school to college to go nuts fur them plus a few million other unsuspecting people like the 36 year old over weight pc game nerd or the high school jock. It's a secret thing about those iconic pop star girls music people don't realize. The basic beat in the background is a very special type of beat that can be used to Basically open your subconscious ears and allow for subliminal messages to enter and be absorbed into your mind. Like a ticking Mechanism a hypnotist uses. There's proven science behind this unique beat that is simply high hat snair and bass drum. It's very basic and is incorporated into just about every single mainstream song that ever gets repeated on the radio... They open up the door in your mind with the beat then after about 30 seconds into the song they use a mixture of words places very carefully between other words, choruses and beats and it tells you to do things you don't even realize like go shopping for certain industry items, watch certain things on TV, subscribe to certain trends and social habits, they even were suspected of placing messages that say thigh gap is the only way you'll be loved, skinny is pretty, fat is ugly, you'll never have a husband or life if you're fat. They subliminally tell girls skinny skinny skinny over and over and then say bad fat bad fat over and over. It's not OK to make skinny girls feel powerful through subliminal messages and tell overweight girls they are ugly and wrong and unwanted. I mean, it's not ok to be fat, it's not natural. It's very unhealthy and the reason is disliked visually is because men have human desires and are attracted to females in a certain way that our human instincts dictate in many ways. Those being just the right amount of hips, just the right curves and butt and breasts... When a female is physically healthy and the way a Female human is supposed to be according to nature, then most guys are going to notice her and like it. For the most part men dislike an obese female and it's okay. Shaming fat is wrong psychologically but at the same time telling young girls that are overweight to be happy and love their body and s accept who they are is bad bad bad... How much will it take to make parents and others to realize that you are just telling them its okay to be obese, at risk for diabetes or have diabetes, risk for heart disease, weak joints, excess skin if they lose weight, emotional issues and so on. Being fat is already hard so they dknt need extra torment from people but this society trend of acceptance of fat, real skinny, identifying as no Gender or identify as both gender or some third...hey whatver if you chose it out of your own imagination and it has no effect on others then nobody can tell you what To do but when it's influencing teens just becshse they think it's cool and makes them different then that's a problem for real. If you're male legally without sex Change, guess what, you're a male and males use the men's restroom as do females with the women's restroom. These new cultural trends labeled serious life changes and how one identifies for life are just trends and a social societal thing that isn't some newly developed human genetic thing now..it's temporary and trendy so young people need to know that and take things lightly and be allowed to develop naturally without too much of one influence

I was drumming for maybe 2 years, and i got to a stage where i felt like i was stuck. All drummers probably find themselves there at some point. So then i check out this genious on the hyde park album they did, and i wasnt stuck anymore :) love him so so so much. Any aspiring drummers out there could learn a great deal from this guy, i would love to go to one of his clinics..

At 10:58 he says he hopes someone picks up something he does. Before I watched this I remember watching on youtube his PASIC 2013 drum clinic and I picked up single pedal triplet bassdrum kicks from that. I thought that was cool that he related it back to that even if it was just a couple of seconds he talked about that.

It used to be you could only see music/sports when they came to your city or read about them in books and magazines.
