Hey Chad, you can borrow audiobooks from the Library. Just sign up with your local Library (wherever your legal residence is) and you can get free Ebooks and Audiobooks through them. It's really great and I'm so happy I learned about it because I've read so many books during the pandemic I wouldn't have had the money to buy!

@@ChadandClaire archive dot com and set up a free account. You can "favorite" books, I search by author easiest and then while reading, I just "borrow" them for every hour, and it remembers the page I am on. And if I have to take a break, no worries, I keep that window open on my iPad and can pick right up a day or two later. And you can search by author. There are many languages on there as well, not just English. But this is a fave, being overseas and not having a local US library. (my mom lent me her card, but our local library has a terrible system and will have one of a series but not the rest, so I gave up on them!)

Thank you for telling us more about yourselves 🌸, I can’t understand why anyone wouldn’t fall in love with both of you. Your very sweet fun loving people, I’m envious of your travels. I’m 58 yrs old, wish I could have done what your doing now. But, I don’t give up on living on the road like you are 🙏. I’ve been homeless and lived in my truck few years, now I’m a mother of 3 grown kids. And just became a grandma in March 👶, which I’m ecstatic about 😊. I could write a book on my life, my mom moved us every 6 months or so. My father by his choice , disowned us in my teen years. I’m so happy that you both have loving supportive families ❤️, it’s a rare thing really. So, keep up the great videos. Like you Claire I’m an art person, I’ll send you a piece of my art someday . I’ve never heard you both laugh so much as you did in this video, remember laughter is internal jogging which is good for you ❤️. Saw that on a church sign years ago, I love it. Stay happy and safe, and keep being you ! 🙏🦋

What a wonderfully honest vlog post!!!! You have helped me get through this last year of many depressing days with your joy and wonder and here you are helping many, many more people with your honest truths!!! BRAVO!!! The world needs more people like the two of you! Now, here's what I've learned in my 59 years that may be of a little help to you. 1. Claire, the older you get the more you grow to not give a damn what other people think about you!!! It is joyous and freeing!!! I just wish is would happen to young people sooner so they can be free of that worry!!! 2. Chad, the things that happened to you while you were on that medicine for the ADHD is exactly what happened to my son. I truly believe that it is BECAUSE of the medicine!!! He doesn't take it anymore and has adjusted well! He has a wonderful job and a very messy apartment! He'd rather play video games OR do anything else than meet a deadline EXCEPT for his work!!! He's an absolutely amazing employee and his firm loves him!!!! BTW, he's only one year older than y'all!!! 3. You have been raised by loving, caring parents! It shows! You know right from wrong and you demonstrate that! That in and of itself will take you far! As long as you both do what you know is just and honorable you can do no wrong! It won't be easy all the time, but you will sleep well at night (and you won't care what other PEOPLE think of you)!!! As far as I'm concerned, you're doing what most people have to wait to do until later in life (like me)! How exciting is that!!! You are truly amazing, talented and blessed! Keep it up! Can't wait until the next vlog!!! Safe travels! P.S. - One question wasn't answered - How did Claire learn to cook so well????

Holley! It’s hard to put into words what you’re support has meant to us throughout the these past few months. Your encouragement and wisdom is SO appreciated. It’s so incredibly cool that you have a son about the same age as me with a similar story. We are truly living the dream and we try extremely hard to not take it for granted. Even though it’s not always easy, that’s what makes it so incredibly fun. To answer your question. Claire learned everything she knows from watching her mom cook and a lot of experimenting. (Fingers crossed we can get her mom in a video sometime!)

After the trip, I then went back to the beginning of your channel and have been watching every several days (so I don't run out of posts to watch) to savor the old ones as the excitement grows with each new one you post. I am a travel agent of 23 years and really immerse myself into what you are experiencing, plus my wife is a filipina so she and I really enjoyed your most recent visit to the Philippines. You are both very genuine and that makes you sooooo likeable! ...plus Claire's cooking has inspired me to eat healthy...so much so that I have lost 50 lbs to a very healthy weight now. I love to see what you are cooking next in the back of the van. Love you both!

You two are such a sweet couple. Usually when I see you two smile I smile too. Liked and subscribed when I first saw your vlog - it was a vlog about Icelandic food. I once had a layover in Iceland, although I haven't had the chance to visit Iceland yet, the fresh air there really impressed me. My personal life experience is that you won't be liked by everyone, and it is important to realize and accept that. If you dwell on dislikes or malicious comments from others, you are punishing yourself with these meaningless things, which is a waste of your time and energy.

I am a good bit older than you two, for sure. So, I think given the age difference, you may not be so interested in the answers to ALL the questions, but here is a tiny brief resume... born into a military family, moved a lot, often to and from Alaska and my family settled in Alaska. It is the last state I lived in before marrying a man I met back in college, my Norwegian farmer. He and I are also born in the same year, but at different ends of it. We are just over 50 both of us, and we would like to spend more time off the farm when we can. Do some local traveling and we have some retirement plans involving Alaska as well. If you have problems when in Alaska, please get in touch as I know folks who can help. Just in case. Nice to have a back up when so far from home. Same for Norway, if ever you are here. My hobbies relate to fiber and plants.... I have two sheep, a garden, and I weave, spin and sew. And knit. And a little dyeing with plants when the mood strikes. And I enjoy following your travels as this is something I hope to do with my husband someday, show him my country and bits of my life. I would love that. And being that we are lowkey non fancy folks, a little van is right up our alley. When in Alaska, check out Palmer (tiny museum with a gorgeous garden, good coffee shops and bookstore and small town feel) and then Talkeetna is a favorite place, and Fairbanks is where I went to college (& had my first date with my husband, so check out The Pumphouse! Spendy, but an experience. They used to have nice Sunday brunches too.) That is, if Alaska is still part of the trip. There is a ferry, and you can camp for free on deck, but the car costs. But it is a beautiful trip, and highly recommend. 😊❤️

Wow. Anyone who leaves a comment that attacks you guys personally, are insecure bullies dealing with their own sad lives.

Hi. Apologies if I sound rude. Malaysian here. May I ask without offence please, guy from south marrying a non white...is that a racial bias over there? Not a bright person here, so if I sound stupid, do pls excuse. News always showing the trumpy thingy and makes it seems that most southern yanks are totally supremo in their minds...apologies again ya if I am rude.

The south is full of all types of people. It’s honestly not foreign or anything that we are together. From our experience no one has said anything or has looked at as differently. Hope that helps!
