Watching Turtles Lay Eggs in Tortuguero, Costa Rica 🇨🇷

Tortuguero is the turtle paradise of Costa Rica! This special gem on the Caribbean Coast allows you to witness both turtle nesting and turtle hatching on a black sand beach. We got to watch the miracle of life appear before our eyes underneath the brilliant moonlight of Tortuguero, and after a late night out on the shore, we woke up at sunrise to spot more wildlife by boat. Awesome video! 👍👍👍This episode is top notch. Amazing drone shot the river swimming and forest reminds me of your Amazon adventures. So glad to see the turtles! We have been loving watching the sea turtles rebuild their population for a long time now. We visit Jekyll Island, Georgia pretty often and they take extra special care to help the turtles have safe places to lay their eggs and hopefully more viable live turtles! It is a very special place! It was so sad to see those turtle shells and bones on the beach. I would have go back up into the jungle walk way too!!! Keep up the great vlogs!!! Yeah it was sad we couldn't find any baby turtles, but the beach goes on for 24 kilometers! So we knew they were somewhere out there.

@@ChadandClaire on Jekyll you really never see the baby turtles because they mostly hatch at night and (hopefully) go straight into the ocean. So maybe that is why you didn’t see any!!!!

This was my special big bday destination I had booked a year in advance unfortunately my big bday was in October 2020 it was postponed 3 times than cancelled. I was wondering which month did you go to Tortuguerro ? Also I love the accommodations you have chosen in previous episode that big wood cabin and the other one thereafter … I think it may have been in lafortuna and just wondered if you have the links ?
