Costa Rica's Cahuita National Park: A Free Paradise 🇨🇷

Our final stop in Costa Rica was at Cahuita National Park, a gem of a paradise on the Caribbean Coast. Entrance to Cahuita is completely free (however, you can donate to the park, if you so desire to), and the Caribbean beach offers pristine white sands and crystal clear waters. We arrived early in the morning around 8 A.M., and Cahuita felt nearly like a private beach, because no one else was around! After a relaxing morning on the beach, we ate our last Costa Rican meal and headed back to San Jose, Costa Rica, for a long travel day to our next country. 🇨🇷

Wow 🤩 amazing top notch job and congrats to Chad & Claire and mama and papa Chang 👍👍👍👍What a show to capped off the final show in Costa Rica. The summary was epic (love the zip line, volcano, volcanic spa spring, turtle hatching story and deep blue waterfall and lake … and cute “panda” monkeys. They are so cute. It’s truly amazing. Your meals and big feast looked so delicious. Did you try stuff the sticky rice into the bread? Just curious. That could taste good too. I am starting my new cooking show (will teach folks how to make all sorts of Chinese dishes in less than a minute. It’s going to be so much fun. My guess on your next country is Taiwan, I hope (and show Chad some delicious 😋 Taiwanese streets food (like stinky fried tofu) 😁 I’ve learned a lot about Costa Rica and your drone shots were so amazing. Hello! I’m from CR and I’m totally glad that you and your family enjoyed a lot in my country! Just FYI, the last dish that you ate it’s called Rice and Beans, like in English ☺️ it is different to Gallo Pinto, because when we prepare Gallo Pinto we don’t put coconut oil and most of the time, we just eat Gallo Pinto for breakfast. This is the biggest difference between this two dishes! Regards!

Glad you enjoyed Cahuita. Just fyi. Kawe, as in Soda Kawe, is the original name for Cahuita, and is the name of a tree that is indigenous to the area👍

You guys should carry tea tree oil with you, if you don’t already! It’s an essential oil, so it’s natural, very small container and easy to bring everywhere. It will help with bug bites! I have really bad reactions to bites, so I always have it on me. I think you’re supposed to dilute it a little, but I just put a little directly on the bite (mosquito, spider, ant, or stings, and even can be used for lice) or my finger and it pretty much eliminates it! Put it on right after you get a bite and it will be gone the next day!

I believe for Peru, and Colombia it was a negative covid test. I’m not sure with Costa Rica. If you google “kayak travel restrictions” you should be able to find a website we use to find all information regarding entry into countries.
