Man I use to go to the same studio as he did with dj dev when he dropped his 1st song and it was at his house and he played stak to me and then he would played jelly I represent the trailer park represent the projects . That was my 1st time I actually heard jelly roll music for the 1st time. In 2003 or 04. I never knew if that was his 1st song dev said it had radio play. And I was sitting behind him asking questions just hungry for knowledge at 15 years old man my brother n law was rapping at the time he had won battle on 106.7 rap station. In Nashville he was going to put out a double disc cd but idk what officially happened dev and him were always cool and dev always showed me love. And I remember going alot of Times and thinking man what if jelly or stak just walked in hell even pistol. But I could remember seeing all those plaques on his wall and even cassette tapes. Of every local artist. And the juvenile 400 degrees plus bg chopper city. I thought we was gonna make it big with Dev. When I saw all the equipment he had and getting to sit behind him was inspiring something I'll never forget. Wish I could have done more with it. But hey it's not about me its bigger than me. Congratulations jelly roll I never met you but you were my favorite.
