Any country with foreign military bases cannot be sovereign or independent. South Korea 🇰🇷 understands better. They are an occupied country with some 30, 000 foreign military personnel. They cannot make any independent decision on any area of society be it economy, security, education, media, etc. So is Japan 🇯🇵 with some 60, 000 foreign military personnel.
