Ya well it's a little ironic that this French made doc is all about how bad the Russians are for winning contracts there. What they don't tell you is France pretty much has a monopoly over the entire sahel region in Africa, robbing it of it resources like oil & precious metals. I also wouldn't be surprised if there is some covert operation where France is paying & backing rebel factions to fight & attack the Russian forces in order to paint them as violent & oppressive to the locals. This is the price Russia pays for taking business from the French, hoping they just eventually leave. After the shop keeper said he paid 350,000 Francs for his AK I was curious what that converts to the U.S. dollar, so I go do the conversion and it says 39K (which blew my mind) then thought that can't be right, n dug deeper... He means Congolese francs which converts into $121 which makes way more sense than 39 thousand dollars... Side note that AK the leader of the gang has is a super rare east German special forces type of AK if this weapon was on the NFA registry it could fetch 39k plus...there is a bunch of people that would pay ridiculous amounts of money for that exact AK beat on n everything, if it was in like new condition 75-100k .... Moral of the story historical firearms are a great investment
