Chad, I pretty much know small blocks, but have ZERO experience with an LS. I'd love for you to do a step by step, in detail, on what you do to bring this"new" block back to life! I think it would make an awesome video with many views, and I'd hope, a lot more subscribers! And, label them part one two three and so on.

I’ve always wanted to build something like this. I wanted to do an f100 and I was hanging onto a 351 Cleveland motor to power it but the years went by and my daughter was born and I realized that motor had sat for 5 years and I never even cracked a bolt on it so I sold it. Oh well maybe someday

Chad, you come Highly recommended by the SouthWestern Utah crews (Fab Rats, Matt's Off Road, etc.). In every video that I have sampled here, the Very Low Video Resolution, makes it quite clear and obvious that you really Need to get yourself a REAL camera. Best Wishes with that, buddy !! (I've seen $40 flip phones from TracFone that video Better than this.)

We use the same cameras as the rest of the Utah crew. We record, edit, render and publish in 4k. I have no idea why you would be seeing such low resolution. 🤔

It was a matter of time for the not-new, definitely-used, been-stored LS engine Chad and Paul and crew put in Gonzo in the beginning. It's cool that Chad is already on it building a better 6.0 liter LS that will make considerably more torque and horsepower. Gonzo will be more fun-time, party-mode capable and we'll get to see him put the power down. ;)

As much as I like Fab Rats, both their content and the people, they simply don't do good work. Nearly everything they do ends up having to be re-done. You've had to fix/replace nearly everything they touched on Gonzo. The same holds true for all of their equipment as well. The frustrating part is that Paul is super smart and capable. He just doesn't take the time to do things right. In the end, good enough isn't good enough. I appreciate that you guys do things right, and do it right the first time, as much as is possible.
@FenzoMac7 ай бұрын
Wasn't Gonzo a roadkill style build? "What's in the junkyard we can get running n a few days"?.. The look on Chads face when in the end of all of the thrashing when Paul surprised Chad with the truck was priceless. It was pretty sweet as Chad said that he wanted that generation GMC truck (or one like it). As a fan of roadkill and many of the style shows on KZbin the work on spare part built vehicles never ends and are always evolving. I think that's the point. One of the best parts of these shows as these vehicles actually get driven and earn their pay. In turn many breakdowns come along the way. Anyway, I can tell your fan, thanks for bringing back some good memories of episodes gone by.

@@SNELLERIZED I mean, it's in the name, fab rats, pretty much everyone of their build starts with junk parts or hand me downs. But come one show me another channel or race team or motorized group that uses their rigs as hard that don't need to constantly be torn down and rebuilt? Why do you think Chad's about to build his scout? Because he doesn't want to be tearing up and tearing down and rebuilding the beautiful Pristine BOB after each day out rock crawling.
