Foresee a new channel in the near future: Stacie's Demolition and Destruction. We break'em no matter how large or how small. We break'em all. As an old machinist with a hundreds of National Wheelstander (example Little Red Wagon) engines as well as thousands of daily drivers, hundreds of dirt track, drag race and ASA engines from my shop, always place the fluid in the intake runner then the exhaust as the chamber fill won't give you a definitive fluid check as in the intake and exhaust runners. Hope that helps in the future. I figure you'll work the guides, valve faces and seats anyhow. Have fun.

When you took your compression tests, you can tell by the movement of the needle on the gauge what the problem is with the compression. A leaky valve or bad rings are diagnosed by the gauge as the cylinder builds pressure.

I have done aircraft engines with tubes and the oil return line must have an accumulation tank in line prior to retuning to the oil sump. When hot the oil leaving the turbo is almost foaming.
@bryduhbikeguy5 ай бұрын
Thanks for the info.I've wondered about that when the boobs that do the '2-step' contests until their turbos are glowing red hot.That oil is 'ready to burst into flame' hot, and I thought about a cooling unit before it goes back into the engine.
@jhaedtler5 ай бұрын
@@bryduhbikeguy The difference between airplanes and race cars is an aircraft is only trying to maintain normal HP at altitude. You lose one inch of manifold Pressure for every thousand feet you go up. A race car just wants pure HP NOW. Turbos are slow reacting so a race car must have it going all the time. I have seen the oil melt an oil line made of rubber!

The heads was also ported and polished and definitely put out some really good numbers on the dyno also!!! I definitely wouldn’t buy any other heads after the seeing the quality of AFR heads are for sure!!! I have bought Edelbrock heads before and the valves didn’t even seat properly and had to have a bunch of work done to them before even being able to install them!!! Definitely money and time ahead when you go with AFR heads!!!!
