I am devastated to know he still went into making Black Panther, knowing what he knew about his medical health. I am still trying to wrap my emotional mind around this mans abilities to put the world first, so we could feel good, proud, hopeful and be viewed as a race, as whole, capable, empathetic, compassionate, intelligent and creative. Chadwick worked up until the last... he truly lived doing what he loved... up until he could do no more...even up until his last movie on Netflix. Mourning his physical presence; the difference that his healthy, positive, energy made in this SOMETIMES, mean, hurtful, hateful, judgmental, confused, brutal world!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even as a white dude . It makes me really happy to see the black community revel and rejoice at the fact they are getting a bigger representation in superhero movies . A media I love .

However much I’d like to say I fully agree that more white people should think more freely . I will say there are more racial issues on both sides on the coin . I won’t get into it because this is a good moment and I don’t wanna spoil it . But for every 2 racist white people , there now seems to be 1 racist black person . I revel in the idea to see more black representation , but we don’t need to start acting like we are back in 1960’s or whatever it was . And take this chance to roast every bad decision every white guy ever made . But again , I’m glad to see the black community so hyped to see a black superhero . And I’m glad that the marvel universe is more diverse .

Puzzled ! I have been listening to all his interviews and comments. He made an impactful speech at a graduation, while inadvertently sharing his struggles with us. May be that historical moment was one of his better days with his inner struggles. There was no indication of pain on his face My marvel is how he managed the side effects of chemotherapy and went to work every day and didn't complain. Later, l will watch all his movies I have to savour his presentation little by little to understand and absorb everything he had to offer. I want to fulfill my purpose here on planet earth without complaining, and l want to love unconditionally. Thank you Lord for sharing one of your representatives with the world. Man i feel like Chadwick has become the face of a movement. I wonder if he realized what he signed up for haha. So proud that this kind of movie is coming out and that as Chadwick said younger generations can see a face similar to their own on screen in a role of empowerment. I don't see this as simply a superhero movie but it's a cultural landmark. I have a feeling that something analogous will happen with people of color with this movie the way women cried and felt empowered by watching Wonder Woman.

It has been nearly 2 months since his death and I still don't want to believe it. These interviews at least give me some comfort. He did get some flowers while he was alive and was being celebrated even as he privately battled cancer. He did what he loved to do up until his body gave out and he was surrounded by love ones when he left this world. That is a lot more than many of us will get to experience. I will remember that fact when the sadness about his death creeps in. RIP CHADWICK.

A christian talking about primitive beliefs the irony is strong. The trinity is a bunch bs inspired directly from paganism. Of course you won't admit that aspect and also call it primitive. The Black Panther stuff is fictional. Your bs beliefs are real. The thinly veiled bigotry in this part of the comments is funny but typical. It's great to laugh at, at least.

They are talking about the movies, not the comics. Of course Black Panther was the first black superheroe (from Marvel), but movie-wise there's been plenty before him. In fact (fun fact), Wesley Snipes was offered the part (Black Panther) before he started shooting Blade, but then the project didn't come through and he did Blade instead... the more you know.

sorry but Chad isn't in RDJs league. RDJ asiclaly LAUNCHED and CARRIED the marvel franchise (when it was in complete obscurity and still in an experimental phase). all these follow up movies (like black panther, Captain Marvel..etc) are riding the wave of the Marvel name (which in itself was carried by the charisma and star power of RDJ). Black Panther would have done well ,,but not well enough to LAUNCH the marvel cinematic universe.
