He was clearly stunned, but Hooker maybe gassed from trying to finish him there in the last 30 seconds or so. DP caught his second wind though and Hooker really wasn’t the same after that. Regardless of which one of them goes on to fight Tony next, I can’t wait for that fight. Both of these guys’ stocks went up in my book after this fight. Hooker is a total pro and will be back in fighting form and ready to raise hell again soon. I’d actually be a little more worried if I were the one to fight him next. Why would Dustin fight tony? Tony just lost in a bad way. Dustin should fight Conor, Conor just won as well. I think the ufc would stop preserving Conor if the clear fight is poirier after this win. Conor can beat poirier, and they have a heated history that sells. Dan off his loss should fight tony off his loss. Olivera needs to fight another opponent outside of the top 5. He hasn’t proven himself enough to be fastracking to title contention. these other dudes put in miles, hooker has racked impressive wins. Why would he fight olivera for.
