Chain Alignment (WITHOUT Chain Alignment Tool)

Does your chain keep coming off? Are you having a problem aligning your chain?
Sometimes if your engine is not sitting or is not lined up, even if you use the chain alignment tool it will still come off or wear out. With this method you are simply allowing the engine sprocket to naturally adjust its most comfortable position with the rear axle sprocket.
This video will show you how to align the chain for all purposed axle driven chain engines(go-karts, quad bikes and others) without a chain alignment tool. The process is very simple, useful and is my personal technique for aligning chains.

I have used a custom motorbike sprocket. I'm not sure about which little bar you are referring to but if its the one on the axle, it's a keyway - every axle should have one.

How much better is it to have an oil bath clutch than a dry clutch or even a cvt what gear ratio is the best for it since it is a 2/1 does the remains ratio still need to be 4/1 with the final drive from the engine to the axle a 6/1 final ratio is the in put a 3/4 shaft from the engine and a 3/4 shaft out

Maybe should have an emergency guide bracket to steer and keep chain on like a derailer but to guide chain.

The brand of the engine is called Loncin. It is very silmilar to a Honda Gx series engine.

you do not need a torque converter with the wet clutch/gear box, it is your clutch. using a TC with it would be double clutching it.

I've got a good genuine Honda GX240/GX270 crankshaft and a freshly rebuilt 2:1gear reduction wet clutch with upgraded plates and disks with the side case and sprockets I'll sale fairly cheap.

hello, I just picked up a honda 9hp with the same clutch on it. I am using it on an off road kart with 18 inch rear tires. do you have a recommendation on sprocket size and where I can find sprockets? I believe the output on the clutch is 7/8 OD. I cannot find one to save my life haha. any info would be appreciated.
