Great idea! I think this might be something I can accomplish on my own. I think! I have a 9 mos old Italian Mastiff who hasn't tried yet to jump the fence, but I have been told he can jump over 6 feet if he felt the need too by his breeder. Oh boy! I only have a 4 foot fence so I bought him a 10 x 10 six foot enclosure but I only keep him in there when can't watch him. I needed this video so bad. It seems doable. Thanks for video. Wish I had 3 friends to help me. Paranoia is a terrible thing I am glad you feel it's safer for your dog now

I did the same thing except with a chicken wire....cost barely anything and now the dog is safe and can not get out. Great minds think alike.

Good idea, I used zip ties one a slightly different project but on a fence, the zip ties broke after a year. How did yours hold up?

2.5 - 3 foot fencing, 8 inch (10 inch works better but you'll have to cut off the excess) zip ties, metal fence posts that start at 3 foot and go up to 5 feet. I bought all these items at Menards but Home Depot, Lowe's and most hardware stores carry these items. One person commented I should of used wire instead of zip ties. I am a female and I never can get wire tight enough. Plus the zip ties are super easy and you can get real tight. The zip ties have been up 4 years and I have not had to replace ANY of them.

My 3 dogs keep jumping my 4ft fence so I got a inground fence and the shock don't even bother them so this is my only option which they will still dig out I'm sure 😫

The zip ties will degrade overtime, you need something more weather resistance.

Idk they have some heavy duty zip ties available nowadays. And as mentioned already are easy to replace and are really inexpensive.

Plastic bags take 20 years to biodegrade, a plastic cup 50 years.I figure a zip tie is closer to the cup thickness and I won't be around in 50 years.
