Nice tutorial. I have been trying to play with physics for years but anything with objects closer together just flies off all over the place. The chains are nice because there’s lots of space between them. I have been trying to animate something with smaller tolerances like a bike chain and haven’t had much luck.

Hi, dear teacher I’ve been following your channel for about a month now to learn Blender. I’ve already learned so much from you, and I’m incredibly grateful for all the knowledge you’ve shared. I have a question: In your opinion, how long does it usually take to become proficient in Blender and start working professionally? Of course, I understand it all depends on my own effort and consistency, but I’d love to hear your thoughts based on your experience. Currently, I dedicate about 3 hours a day to learning Blender. How long do you think it will take for me to reach a good, acceptable level of skill? Thank you so much!

Would love a video on Compound Parents/Objects, collision boxes, and complex models with differing physics. (One step away from where this video stops, is a pretty steep learning curve ahead. 😅) Modeling a set of headphones, wanted both ear cups swinging on separate hinges, with a dangling cable attached. Got those working and parented. (So I thought.) Tried to parent a mesh cable to the speaker cup, noticed the warning about compound parents. _Project faceplanted instantly._ Realized it was an issue for the cable/cup, hinge set up, and everything else I'd planned. What parents to what, what should be known about collision and compound objects/parents, how to go about it, etc. *Wouldn't ask to make this specific scenario, just sharing for example.

Great tutorial! While doing these with the passive chain, the other ones are bouncing weirdly and they dont stop

Can blender be used to create scientifically accurate physics simulations to present in classes at the masters or PhD level? I am not questioning the possibility of making simulations, but rather the technical side.

How to make a chain on a small scale? Otherwise, I made a scene and decided to add a chain and, for the sake of the fact that I have already set the frame and verified the size of the objects in the scene, I cannot increase the chain
