Chain Tensioner & Timing Chain Noise.

All Motorcycles and Scooter Engines are fitted with Timing Chain. These Chains Elongates with Time. To Maintain the proper Timing Chain tension And prevent chain noise ,Engines are fitted with Timing Chain Tensioner.

Hi, I have Cbz extreme 2009 model, I am facing vibration issued in my bike after 50 kms and above speed, whole bike get vibrated like it is going to blast, I have show my bike to many mechanic and hero showroom service center, some said me chainset problem, swing arms bush problem, engine timing chain problem, Foundation bolt problem, carburetor and timing chain need to adjust may be less air is going and more petrol is taken by engine, rear wheel bearing problem, show room guy told me that clutch plate spring are hard in this model to vibration is normal after 50kms per hrs,after doing and changing all this parts same vibration is still there. I don't understand wht is the problem with this bike my friend don't vibrated at 100 speed also and my bike start vibrating at 50 speed.

bro i have gixxer 150. i tighten that tensioner in anticlock wise direction without removing the tensioner from engine block. so is it ok?? or did i overtightened it??

There is a coin rattling noise in Yamaha FZ25. This rattling noise comes only when you increase rpm to 4000 and above. Is that reason to think timing chain tensioner problem?

bro i have decarbonized my engine head and changed both valves, also cleaned carburator. but now iam not getting mileage. there is no sound from engine and it starts and runs smoothly the only issue is iam not getting mileage as i used to get. the mechanic have even tuned the carburator. i dont know whats the issue. pls help. honda unicorn 2013. 45000+ kilometrs. current mileage is like 38 km below . i used to get around 50 before. pls answer if u know.

I have changed Cam Chain twice and the adjuster 4 times on my Honda Hornet, within a year of purchase, could you please suggest me with any solution, if anything might be deteriorating that part, further please answer if the bad cam chain damages the bike engine.

Within a year is very disappointing. Most probably your Bike is in warranty. Tell them to check the cam bearings. Bad cam chain will not damage your engine. It will just irritate you with its sound.

Thank You Sir, Further, my bike doesn't run smoothly, And, it happens like, the accelerator becomes heavy if the bike's speed is 20 @ 2nd gear, and 30 @ 3rd gear and so on, is this normal? Please kindly suggest if this is damaging my bike somehow, I just need my bike to run smoothly. Further, i am from Nepal and service centers in here anr not much cooperative, and couldn't expect much from them, I have told them to check my bike from the first servicing and they always tell this is normal in hornet bikes, I am really frustrated with this kind or reply, as in here due to customs and import taxes we have to invest around 2.7 lakhs for this bike unlike in India this is huge amount for a bike. I am really hoping from you thanks in advance.
