Have you considered the possibility of a reintroduction of the blood devil being the reason that they're trying to cause chainsaw man to bleed? Power's final monologue at the end of part 1 kind of leaves the possibility of a return of the blood devil not super outlandish. Additionally, the removal of the ear devil is such a sick way of highlighting Part 2's recurring theme of the inability of the characters to communicate their intentions, and I wouldn't be surprised if the next chapter had zero dialogue (except from yoru and fami potentially) but would love to see a completely silent action chapter

As a Reddit post I saw said, I believe pochita erased the ear fiend of existence only because the PS was communicating with radio and so after erasing the ear devil they wouldn't be able to do that anymore. Also, yoru mentioned making pochita throw up the nuclear weapons devil, so I believe pochita will throw up the ear fiend. Also, something I've seen no one talking about is that people were still talking and trying to listen after pochita erase the ear devil, so it means they're still trying to figure out why they aren't listen anymore, which also means the concepts pochita erase are erased from existence but not from the history, and it is also confirmed by makima asking Kishibe if he _remember_ what the Nazis did to the Jews

the whole point of asa/yoru’s arc is to introduce the concept of making chainsaw man throw up devils that he’s erased. they’re going to get their ears back and probably more due to asa needing to power up before they fight the death devil (which will almost definitely happen, i doubt Tatsuki would introduce such an op adversary without giving us a proper fight w them) the manga could probably go for another arc after that. in short, not the end, imho

Blood reference=blood devil The end is not as near as ppl think, no ear devil means just a new way to tell the story, killing chainsawman will make no sense since that would make the death devil revive after eating him i dont think there will be a way to control what denji eats. For closure we need for denji to figure out what he wants to do. So denji needs to be in a point where he has to make a decision. Nayuta probably coming back making denji gain consciousness again and make a decision for what he wants to do.

Okay but if the story did go on without ears, you can still hear through your jaw bone / whatever that is But It could also lead into weakening the control devil just like the war devil is weakened, and then focus the story on individual wants and needs of characters which could be very interesting. E.x. Denji is always being told what to do, order can't maintain itself without communication, if you couldn't hear or communicate all that's left is to talk to yourself and find out what you want / who you are etc

First of all, I'm not that sure Yoru was smiling, she had a weird expression on her face, she was probably thinking something like "I know Chainsaw man had just erased something" and maybe "I have to act quickly or it will get worse for me", but there's no reason for her to smile, besides Fujimoto has drawn Yoru and Asa smiling before and this time it is a very different expression. I don't think Yoru knows exactly what CSM took away, but at the same time, I wonder how Makima knew about WW2, AIDS and all the other things the Chainsaw Devil erased, I don't believe she could just read about them from a book, I imagine those words and chapters would also be deleted. Maybe the four horsemen are not affected by this power, but I strongly doubt it. On the other hand, I don't know why you get the idea that the Puppet Devil has any chance of coming back, that devil is lost forever, Halloween was the end of it, Santa Claus got a punishment worse than death for her crimes, there's no more plot to it, it was the perfect ending for such a horrible devil.
