Part 1 of the manga is complete at vol 11 all 11 volumes are available in English. Part 1 ends at chapter 99. Part 2 of the manga just started I think we are 5 or 6 chapters into Part 2.

Gem you should be careful with some of these manga, these Japanese companies are insane with copyright, they’re not like Dark Horse with Berserk. They’ll put strikes out like crazy, I know some of the manga channels won’t even show one page.

Definitely a great read! Vol 8 has some major feels like the eclipse in Berserk that’s all I’m saying ! Very short and love how it turns light hearted into way more darker ! Just started the sequel and man ! Just amazing !

I don't know why, cuz they're not the same or even that similar but ChainsawMan gave me the Venom fix I've been after for about 15 years. That was just early on. It then exploded into something way deeper than what was advertised. Easily my favorite new Manga in recent years. Led me to Fire Punch, Fujimoto's previous work; oh boy... That was a trip, even more so than ChainsawMan. Fujimoto's definitely in my top 5 Mangaka. Everything he puts out is fantastic.

I really enjoyed this story, but it’s horribly overhyped, there’s a load of people calling it the best manga ever and that’s just insane, it doesn’t come anywhere near Berserk, Gantz, Vagabond, Vinland Saga, One Piece etc. But I did really enjoy Power with how she’d just lie through her teeth even when everyone knew she was lying haha, she’s such a psycho.

It's popular with the core manga/anime fans because they are used to the over saturation of certain genres and characters so when Chainsaw man came out by the same person that did 'Fire Punch' and gave you something different to what has been pumped out the previous few years people loved it. It's not a masterpiece but people love it because it's amazing for what it is.

Ngl, I binge read this and thought it was so mediocre. I really don’t get why ppl like it so much. It just seems like the generic anime Pervy stuff with lackluster writing to me. Second half of the series definitely dropped for me. Binge read bleach and thought that was phenomenal beforehand. You should check bleach out gem since it’s final arc is getting animated after 10 years.

Yea I don’t understand the massive hype either, I did actually like it, I found it a pretty exciting manga and enjoyed reading it, but people are calling it the best manga ever, which it most certainly isn’t. I think the reason people like it so much is because there’s no actual heroes in it, everyone except for Aki is a garbage human being. And a lot of young people nowadays are also garbage and relate more to villains.

Maybe cause I went in expecting super gory insane horror writing which wasn’t what I got. But still, felt like this series peaked in the first half and the twist (not going to say what) was predictable. There was also one specific part that confused me in the second half that made me reread it so many times just to figure out what was going on.
