That looks basically like the harbor freight sharpener, but battery powered. That is the best running poulan I think I've ever heard! I have never had much luck getting poulans to run well. If you did some vids on your techniques for tuning and repairing poulans you'd be keeping thousands of them from ending up in the landfill! Thanks for all your vids!

I run 24 or 28 inch bars, and I've learned that if I go from my ⁷32nd file, I have to take a while getting my gullet brought back. I'm not doing it again, but those grinders are my go-to for .325 chains. Like Smitty said, home owner who needs a branch or 2 cleared. Most homeowners call someone to cut down a tree.

What about the 10°tilt? How could one make up for it?

seems to work good i have the cheap harbor freight i think its a Chicago one been using it for 5 years definitely like that it has 2 battery's and you could rig something up on the back of your tail gate i just clamp harbor freight down with a c clamp to a chair in the house and always sharpen 3 chains because i always take at least 2 saws in the woods and like to have back up chain just in case im definitely not a hand file guy i use to use a dremal but when i started use a grinder i notice chain for me gets sharper and my chains life spand seems probly 3 times longer

Looks to work out of the box fine and thats good. But batteries may have a short life and / or that body does not look robust. I'm sure hot days or colds days, will affect the batteries. But new novelty tools can be fun, sometimes.

What i know with new batteries you want to fully charge them before use! Looks like a decent little grinder! Reminds me of my HF grinder but battery!

I have the 110 volt version of this grinder. It works fine if you take your time does a better job than I do hand filling. I upgraded to the knockoff of the Oregon 510 simply so I can play with the angles more.

3/16" files are for .325" pitch chains, & 7/32" files are for 3/8" pitch chains. Are grinders different?
