Nice therapy session Tony. You amassed a large pile of rounds to process. You’re a third of the way there my friend, next comes the splitting and the best part, the stacking because the mission will be complete. Great work buddy. Cheers Woody !!!

Jack- Maryland, firewood addict. Lol I scored huge on cherry and locust again, I went and cut up little over a cord Wednesday!!! I need a tractor bad, cause I'd have brought it all home if I had one and just cut it here 😂 probably 4 full cord left to go cut and get off that property 💪💪 Oh those saws sound like my 500 if ya don't get into big wood, and oak cuts like butter no matter if sitting for a bit or green , in my opinion 🍻🍻

Hey Tony. Nice oak. That stuff with the sliding bark could be ready in a year if you get it split.
@TCsOutdoors19 ай бұрын
Thanks! The bark is coming off of most of it, I’ll have to check it in the the fall and see what the moisture content is.

Don't ya have a lil battery saw? Use that to mark. Better clean up that leaner, as wet as your place gets it'll be over soon. Couldn't believe how fast the 590 went thru that near 28" pine I got. First use of the 24" bar. Chainsaw therapy huh, I finally got massage appointment today. She's booked out so far😢. Unfortunately I'm so messed up, it only lasts couple days, but worth it
@TCsOutdoors19 ай бұрын
Yeah I’m not sure why I didn’t use it this time. I don’t think you can beat the 590 for the money they are great saws.

I’ve asked before. Did you get around to trying to hold your logs with the tractors grapple from the butt end of the log to cut them up. Just curious on if it worked. Seems like it might. Have a nice day.
@TCsOutdoors19 ай бұрын
I haven’t, after i had the log fall on the saw I pretty much gave up on cutting out of the grapple. If I had a log grapple instead of the root grapple it would probably work a bit better.
