The toolbox Vik has, only has 80 charges and TREMENDOUSLY increases repair speed (and whatever add-ons he has). So it would be a waste using that toolbox on a gen. Still your head can hurt cause there are a couple other tool boxes he could have used to do hooks.

Chief Ortiz I'm pretty sure Vikk has an addon on his Toolbox that lets him do better things when fixing a generator but when you put on an addon for an increase in fixing a gen it disables the ability to destroy a hook
