The beefs I have about the film- how off it was too have Kabir work hard for his redemption from a 'crime' he never committed- was very much getting a Muslim to prove his patriotism, that Argentina match where there was no refreeing and though CDI handled it better, it created a template of sports movies where people playing at the highest level are infantalized and can't get the basics right. But an iconic movie nevertheless.

Loved the podcast. Heard it on Apple podcast earlier and now I’m watching the video. I don’t know if it’s just me, but there are certain SRK films that I’ve only watched once and never wanted to watch it again. This is one of those films. Another one is my name is khan. I’ve seen it once, I remember the story (kind of) and I don’t need to see it again. Also, Hussain is an awesome guest.

PLEASE LET URJITHA GO!! She is dragging the show down for sure! For someone who says that one should not carry personal bias in a review, she whole heartedly projects her bias in each review. Off late, the reviews have become extremely predictable. The series has changed from "Has it aged well" to "Is it woke enough". Urjitha only reviews sexism and patriarchy. She has no other lens or perspective. Please focus on other relevant aspects(music, cinematography, story ) rather than personal preferences or prejudices. The audience isn't watching it through you or to see how woke you are. Back up opinions with facts, examples, or specific experiences to support the review's claims. Too many "I feel ... " in the reviews. Acknowledge that what may not appeal to one person could be appreciated by another, and try to see things from different viewpoints rather than assuming that what you like is the universal view. Stick to the topic at hand and avoid letting unrelated factors influence the review. That desperate need to fit a joke in/ cutting panelists with a joke just shows the desperation.
