I'd like to say to all who feel the need to criticize: her hair, weight, voice, etc...The last three or four years, maybe Whitney wasn't the Whitney we're all used to, love & wanted back, but it wasn't meant to be. Instead of mean-spirited remarks, why not be thankful that she gave us over 20 yrs of her best self, which includes some of the most phenominal, breath-taking, record-breaking music ever to be recorded? (which will never die!) Maybe she wanted to be free & just have some fun?

I hate that too... We know Whitney had a drug problem but that doesn't mean that EVERY time she appeared on stage having a good time she was "high.." I hate when people say things like that with absolutely nothing to back it up.

God I was praying for Whitney. As a long time Chaka fan I had hope that things would get better for Whitney as they did for Chaka. I remeber in the 80's starting to hear Chaka's voice take a turn and not for the better, but she got help and was able to save it. Whitney I will miss knowing there will never be no new album to look forward to. God bless you

I love Chaka Khan. She obviously had a lot of respect and love for Whitney. Chaka knew Whitney was high. Whitney's voice is incredible...even at this point...the tone of her voice was amazing. I guess this was a bright moment for Whitney, in terms of singing are sharing love with Chaka, and if you watch Pier's Morgan's interview with Chaka, you can see how visibly shaken she was after Whitney's passing. When I hear people criticize Whitney, it pains me, as she travelled a road none of us could comprehend. Her choices may have been questionable at times, however her bright spirit all shone through, particularly with her support to young artists. One star will shine brighter in sky.

It's clear that Whitney was a bit buzzed on this video, but What I Will Give Her Credit for is, she was a gift from God despite what we saw as her faults, or downfalls, God sent this woman to us and what she did with her life, all of her life was perform for us. Some performances not as great as some, but the MOST of the performances, The Voice, The Woman herself, is what we loved. And though we cannot judge her because we all have faults, Whitney was a gift from God. R.I.P. Nippy.

when whitney did the oprah interview she stated that when she was goin thru those days of doing drugs...she didnt even think or care about her voice....to once possess the GREATEST VOICE IN MUSIC HISTORY and then all of a sudden be stripped of it, had to be such a depressing place to be in....maybe thats why she continued on the path she did...maybe the Drugs numbed the pain....i dont know all i know is I LOVE THE SHIT out of Whitney Houston and she will 4ever be missed

it obviously was an impromptu. as a professional signer on a stage with lighting, whitney always knew when and how to dress and i've never seen her inappropriate. she was simply a spectator that night and probably did not know chaka would call her on stage. if she'd never been called on staged, you'd never know it was see-through.
