Why is that?? Why is it that this would make you cry? Not asking because I think it's silly but because I saw this video and it made me tear up. I'm not old enough to have lived during the Beatles era so I am reflecting on my emotional reaction and trying to figure out why this reaction.

I was born in 1960 and I remember sitting on the black and white TV watching the Beatles and laughing at Ringo when he shook his long hair around because I was a typical crew cut Kid of the 60s

This rooftop concert made me realize the death of John Lennon is probably the greatest loss in music in the past 60 years. I can’t imagine what could have happened had he lived longer and was able to write more and collaborate with other musicians. Maybe they could have gotten back together at some point. Very sad that he was taken so senselessly. These guys were so young and experienced so much fame, created so much music and influenced the world in such a short period of time.
