The geniusness of St tyagaraja in composing can be clearly understood in this keertana. Chakkni rajaamargamu undaga sandulo duranela manasa, here the saint thinks of himself,meaning that when god Sriram is. With him why he should think of others. 2. Chakkani raja maargamu undaga, sandulo duranela manasa here the St. Asks Sri rama, the raja,not to go sideways ignoring the prayers of the saint. What a Melody?

I think Khara was a Rakshasa- Asura. Khara Hara means One who conquered or killed Khara. So Khara Hara is Shri Rama-Vishnu. This Raaga is perhaps very dear to Shri Rama & Vishnu.
