They couldn't be a couple for seven years and just when they are about to make it back to Earth TPTB decided on a last minute pairing of Seven and Chakotay. Seven???? It still makes no sense, they had nothing in common and he was almost double her age.

Plus Chakotay always questioned the fact that seven was on the ship. I really liked that the J/C was under the surface and more a team leading the crew more than a romantic relationship. Shows the strength of both Janeway & Chakotay to lead and put their people first.

I dont think a relationship with chakotay would have been a good idea, just under the surface as it was during the show. They however should have left them both single and let the wievers imagine stuff. When they went home they could be together... OR if chakotay was with someone other than seven. Because in the later seasons J and C were very close friends.. she even was with a few guys....

@Noordledoordle Thanks Noordle!!! He does seem to pout quite alot. Ha ha. The only thing I did was put a soft glow on it, just to tone down the sometimes harsh colors on Voyager. But I also got a new ripper because the one I had sucked, and upgraded to Vegas Pro. (I had been using the Platinum version)

@Brett0717 I'm going to have to disagree with you. Janeway and Chakotay would have been a terrible idea for numerous reasons. 1) It would ultimately have undermined her authority. The crew would have seen him as a "shadow" captain. 2) it would have compromised her drive to get them home. She was focused on one mission and one mission alone. A relationship would have only conflicted with that drive. 3) Chakotay was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not on her level. Not even CLOSE.
