However the real pathos of this song is that the character played by Dev Anand is considered by all to be the brother of the character played by Suchitra Sen. Well Khaitan... i feel the same. I got my daughter married off 7 years ago... . I was riding my two wheeler ( i had a four wheeler too then which I gave it off to my daughter)... and I was just thinking those 22 years I spent with her.. sometime laughing.. sometimes fighting.. but overall a great 22 years of my time, my wife left me 2 years before her marriage).. i started humming this song.. but tears rolleddown my cheeks... and you wont believe.. i slept on the foot path that night just crying....and when I reached my apartment the next day.. the watchmen told me.. that my daughter and son in law came and rang the bell...since there was no response, they left to the airport.
