@20:19 Jeremiah explains in a few seconds why Washington brought in all the players at once. It's amazing how many words get wasted vs 'the owner's busy and he wanted to see them all'.
@christopherlove44656 ай бұрын
@george474747, the correct phrase is that 'the owner is busy', not the owner's busy. That shows possession - as if the owner possesses 'busy'.

DJ always so informative. If you’re into mocks and drafting you learn a lot. Nice interview Chris. Byron Murphy has short arms though just saying and listen to his interviews nice guy but far from cerebral. Now watch he’ll be the next Aaron Donald. Speaking of core strength though I wish DJ would have mentioned Jackson Powers-Johnson. Dude throws around lineman like crash test dummies.

Why don't the Chargers trade Herbert for a BAG of picks, and take JJ Mac? They would be able to absolutely NAIL the rest of the draft AND suddenly be WAY under the cap for signing Veterans. It's a no-brainer.

You can't get it right all the time, but he was high on Trey Lance. At the time I couldn't understand how everyone ignored the lack of reps in college. The GA OT Mims suffers from the same, drafting a player that started 8 college games in the 1st round blows my mind.

Funny I watched the pivot episode and had the opposite feel. Watching a couple of those guys sucking up to him and gloating over his apt was strange.....but the bigger takeaway was Caleb has rabbit ears. He cares a lot about what's being said about him, and that's a trait that would probably drive just about any NFL QB crazy.

Harbaugh's formula worked in college and in the NFL years back. The NFL has changed. With that being said, I would probably bet on him rather than against.

Does Herbert have blackmail on media for them to pretend he’s this elite quarterback, he’s had an outrageously good offense and has had one good season before there was any film on him .

The thing with William's is the media has been on his hype train since before the mock drafts started to be published. He's infaliable according to the vast majority of commentators. Nobody has ever been better, can't miss, etcetera ad nauseam. One would think he's already guaranteed to win 3 to 5 Super Bowls the way he's talked about. Hopefully for Chicago he's not the next USC QB that fizzles out in the NFL. Because his life story has shades of Todd Marinovich sprinkled about. Next year there will be someone else and wait until Arch Manning is drafted. I'm more intrigued by who's the mid to late rounder that ends up being a steal. Does a Michael Pratt end up going late to Denver or Green Bay and three/four years from now are we're saying how was he missed.
@billyboy10756 ай бұрын
Sound to me you want him to fail. Did you want Burrow and Lawrence to fail? They had all the hype. Lawrence had it as a freshman.

It's not about generations changing its about the fact grown ass men don't paint their nails like my 14 year old daughter.
