I don’t have it, I’m super torn over whether to go for it or the MiG-21. A lot of it is also just general apprehension; I don’t really have much of an issue with buying modules, it’s really more about the time. It takes a long time to learn a new module to a proficiency level that makes it actually enjoyable to fly, and when I get sub-5hrs a week to play any game in general, I want it to be something I enjoy doing and can be fairly confident will yield video-worthy footage. New modules are like, booking a week off work sort of presents to myself 😅

@@Bullet4MyEnemy True enough, but at least the Mirage F1 module comes with like 3-4 different mirage F1s, so that is something to consider when buying it. Thanks for the answer

That is what I do in my videos. I try to tell a story. Which means the video has to be a little longer to maintain the continuity. I have had no complaints although I do have one friend (not just a subscriber) who skips through the video. LOL

Really the only thing you can do in my experience is making the decision to turn cold and run before it's too late. The mistake most people make is they decide to run when they have no chance, they would have been better off just gambling with a head on shot. I've outrun Mirage 2000s in a Hornet many many times by just recognizing I'm not going to win a BVR fight in these conditions and deciding to run earlier. Even though they were faster than me and were gaining on me, the closure rate was so low I'm able to make it back to friendly SAMs before they can get within launch parameters and they end up dying to a SAM or breaking off their attack.

It doesn’t really interest me tbh, but there are a couple I think - one’s a dogfight server where you spawn head to head with someone, though it’s usually best used with a buddy so you can time your spawns so the merge works better and there’s another that works more as you describe where you just don’t get missiles. But I can’t remember what they’re called.

I forget what it’s called - might be the enable/designate switch used with CCRP bombing. But it makes the Magics scan that area so you’re more likely to catch heat signatures when you nose over them.

For the missiles shots in the fight around 7mins the 1st one the double circles are blinking which i think is target is going evasive/low percent odds of hitting and the 2nd shots the double circles are solid indicating a decent shot. Not a 100% sure on that I'm new to the mirage and tried to find a source for that and couldn't so not sure where it entered my brain from. So hopefully someone can confirm or deny that lol

I’ve noticed similar, if you actually lose track you get an M on the hud for memory, where it’ll guess the last known trajectory and try to acquire for 8 seconds - usually it does, if it doesn’t it switches to illumination mode where you have to manually paint the target with the radar by keeping them in a circle on the hud.

You should try to do this on Tempest's Blue Flash server. Best place to fly M2000C PVP imo! Lovin your videos!

I have managed about 15 kills without dying on that server, but no ace… I do prefer BlueFlag’s EWR system rather than the overlord bot, and Tempest’s tends to be dead whenever I’m online unfortunately. I will give it another look at some point though because they have a Persian Gulf mission now.

Tempest's now has an EWR system instead of overlord bot, tho not sure how it compares with the EWR system on BlueFlag.

My best jet is the SU-27 I do the fly very low look up shoot down bandit's. I can regularly get Ace in the 27. I can get Ace in the M2000 tho I got to work for it. And that's what I like about the M2000c. I've killed so many Hornets and Vipers in the M2000c. I get the feeling that they have bought a airframe that's far beyond there skill lvl. I feel when others say make your first airframe a Hornet or a Viper. They are doing a disservice to the new person. I feel they should start simple learn the basic's then jump into the full feldity mod's. Just my Opion The M2000c is my favorite Full Feldity mod.

Love me some 27 action on Blue Spike 80's. It a really capable fighter. When i know there is a Mirage, i tend to fly lower then him and bit behind to complement it. Works well. EO ftw goes without saying lol F-16 was my first fighter module(A-10 being first, ofcourse) and its such a relatively simple FF module. Even cold start doesnt take more then 2 mins. 3 ARM modes to choose and each does its own unique job, you just cant mess it up. Its plenty fast, rates like a god on skateboard and gets impressive A/A and A/G loadouts. It's risky flying it on 80's server since no Sparrows. Mirage is the only thing im scared of in the Viper.
