¹Malenia's sustain and second life bar are perfect for this type of challenge, she simply recovers all lost HP and when she dies, she has another bar and starts with a powerful area attack... ²I am in favor of officially placing the Elden Beast as the second phase of Radagon.

Bosses who understand 'doubletaps': Niall, Placidusax, Malenia. Thought Placi had it in the bag but that Death Rite Bird does stupid amounts of damage. Ploughed right through Placi's second stage. Would have been interesting to see Rennala or Radahn.

Placi ain't doubletappin , fire just does multiple hits by itself and the attack he does with that tail it's scripted , he does it everytime after a certain move

There's definitely something wrong with the Deathbird's roar. That attack almost killed Radagon, halved the Fire Giant's health, but it doesn't even do that much to players

That roar behaves like a multi-hit attack. Because the player usually gets pushed back by it, the damage is comparatively low. But the bosses get the full-brunt of it.

The attack does a set damage in close proximity to the bird. When the player is hit, you are knocked down and/or enter i-frames (the same way that rolling works) for a time until you get up. Therefore, you do not take any more than one instance of damage. Bosses do not receive i frames and have high poise and thus they just face tank the attack and get melted by taking damage from every wave of the scream.

@@irtendor5885 thats true aswell there is a rather "rough" percentage wich varies (found via data mining, saw that within a reddit post a while ago) that can cut between 5% and 40% each hit (where the 40% of total life has a really low chance ever happening) thats why you sometimes see a whole boss life bar going down in one scream

Yeah it’s total bs. made the mistake of tryna get death rite spear in ng7, and it punishes you for melee attacking. Literally if you get caught in the hit box AT ALL it oneshots at any vigor level.

Its literally as broken if not even more than Malenia's scarlet aeonia attack (that people complain the f out of) so no... it was not awesome... It was cheap, just like its scream attack that somehow does more damage than the fire of a dragon god... all the scenarios where the other bosses got destroyed by either of these attacks are cheap af... Godfrey, Placidusax, Mohg etc.

I love malenia but I agree. I had already deduced that the only way malenia would win was if she made it to the skeleton in her first phase. That way it would waste its beam attack wiping out her first phase giving her a chance in her second because that skeleton is nothing without its beam attack and after it uses it once or twice it probably won't use it again unless the battle takes too long. But I will take what happened also 😂. I still feel bad for the other bosses though. That beam attack needs to be nerfed. Kind of getting tired of these games with broken attacks, characters, and mechanics. In my opinion no character needs a one Hit kill move it's too cheap, and in elden ring you find way too many. Balance your characters please. You can easily make a boss extremely difficult without giving him such a tool. I was gonna say look at final fantasy 😂 but I think they got some. Omega weapon in part 8 I think could do it or just about. That's probably if you aren't properly buffed.

@@sailordallen2838 Yes, the broken attacks are insane, but I think that since it’s wasn’t meant for bosses it deal a lot of damage, which to the player doesn't do much. On the other hand, there are some attacks that cause high damage to the player but do not cause any damage or cause less damage to the bosses. Also they designed those broken attacks because the game is for players who much smaller than the bosses (meaning much less hit box) and can dodge, heal, and use incantations that protect them and increase damage negation for each damage type. So I think it's kinda convincing that there is some.
