very fun to watch. would keep kozileks command in v doomsday so that you can both find and cast disruptor flute more consistently. can probably cut a big eldrazi and 1 or 2 more utility lands like you noted
@crucible_of_wordsАй бұрын
Yeah, that makes sense, I was worried K Command was too slow, but in retrospect the selection seems clutch given how few things the cloudpost deck has to combat the matchup

In round 3 game 1 by naming FOW with Flute I believe you also gave your opponent the line of pitch casting FOW and paying the three extra mana and therefore getting around your vexing bauble. I think that is how it works out rules wise (pls correct me if I’m mistaken). It is an interaction to keep in mind for the future. But yeah great content as always :)
@crucible_of_wordsАй бұрын
Yeah, making it cost more makes it playable into bauble. I got a bit deep into my own brain a bit and did not play that turn well
@Mr.Floppy777Ай бұрын
@@crucible_of_words Thanks for clarifying. We all make mistakes but you always own up to them :) also commenting/narrating makes it obviously even harder to play perfect.

At 39:40, you can use the spawn mana to crop rotate away any land, probably glimmerpost, and get tabernacle, which can’t be paid since Karn is out, killing the brazen borrower.
@crucible_of_wordsАй бұрын
I got a bit deep in my own head on that turn playing around some stuff and making things more difficult than they had to be
@gustavoborcellirepenning9809Ай бұрын
Post players rejoice! This is the best version ever of cloudpost in legacy. I do think having 1of wasteland in the main is very important, double land destruction in the same turn is back breaking. I personally like having a bigger Karn wishboard as well as having 4 Karn in the main deck. A card I've cut completely from my lists is OUAT, it has felt much worse than previous MH3 version, since it has more non fetchables than before and this build has less green sources so casting it is much harder.

about tabernacle its 1.5k for ital and 1.8 English on mkm for the lowest offers. English NM is 3k I think with what they do in MH3 why not functionally reprint it. Like each land gains: tap: add 1 energy and every creature gains: at the beginning of the upkeep destroy unless you pay 1 energy. Wotc will probably never abolish the RL, because they don't need to. See 1/1 the one ring, functionally reprints or Magic 30 reprints - they make tons of money 😅

@@Andre-fm1zy I sold my English tabernacle for like £1900 ages ago (bought it for £150 originally). I kind of based my pricing off that one

I like the one of Wasteland, but this list was built by a Cloudpost expert who won a challenge with it, so they definitely know better than I. That said, I'd love to squeeze in a Wasteland, but I guess if you are Mycoispawning and Ulamogging, you already have the LD you want?

I opted for playing around counter spells via digging for flute instead, which maybe was overly cautious.

does the deck just fold to blood moon effects or have i missed something?
@crucible_of_wordsАй бұрын
Blood Moon is definitely good against it for sure, but you can win through it by just casting your big spells and the One Ring and Karn are still decent under blood moon and can buy you the time you need. It's certainly not great to be under the moon tho
