I play this deck and Endings are commonly in SBs. I am looking forward to watching all the way through to find out.

does the deck just fold to blood moon effects or have i missed something?
@crucible_of_words14 сағат бұрын
Blood Moon is definitely good against it for sure, but you can win through it by just casting your big spells and the One Ring and Karn are still decent under blood moon and can buy you the time you need. It's certainly not great to be under the moon tho

The safekeeper is there for the combo with springheart + nadu + endurance So if no more land in the library, you sac all your lands, then endurance it back to the library Then proceed with nadu + nantuko, making token and drawing your deck Then continue to make insect token and mana as much as you need to win with thoracle
@crucible_of_wordsКүн бұрын
@@Laydkwais my problem with that, is it doesn't really seem necessary and the safekeeper feels bad if the list doesn't have 4 Spring heart. The issue is getting the combo going, not having multiple outs after you've drawn your deck. Safekeeper becomes an awkward combo piece of the only one you can tutor whilst being a singleton that really needs another singleton (Spring heart) as well as the Nadu. That's a lot of pressure on tutors. If the list had four Spring heart, it would be far easier to get the ball rolling and use safekeeper as the starting combo piece.
@LaydkwaisКүн бұрын
@@crucible_of_words yeah, this list feels like, the one of is just like optional combo piece, if u have it on the field it's good, if not, u still can combo nadu + nomad, then when the engine is going, u either have the one of in your hand or search it using the gsz But when the combo is disrupted, the one of, feels really bad when u draw it I want to try 4 springheart, but don't know is it worth cut the swords for more springheart

Round 2 Game 1 in your last turn you could have bounced chalice (Otawara costing only 3 because of Nadu) and then pondered to find nomads or safekeeper and try to combo. In terms of what you said at the end, I can say with a lot of confidence that the SFM version of this deck sucks super hard. The whole package is next to useless these days, Kaldra is trash, Batterskull is too slow, the only good things you can get are Lion sash, Pre-War Formalware and Shuko which is just bad Nomads en kor. Zenit gives you an option to get Nadu and chain value creatures like Bill to win the game slowly, you dont have to get 15 cards with nomads + Nadu to win the game. You get mana acceleration and better top decks with GSZ, with SFM you have a better control deck as you are playing less creatures and more interaction, but a strictly worse nadu deck. Nadu + Shuko is just 2 cards on their own. I mean that's a laughable combo. Nomads + Nadu is 8 cards at least, there really is no point in running shuko at this point.

about tabernacle its 1.5k for ital and 1.8 English on mkm for the lowest offers. English NM is 3k I think with what they do in MH3 why not functionally reprint it. Like each land gains: tap: add 1 energy and every creature gains: at the beginning of the upkeep destroy unless you pay 1 energy. Wotc will probably never abolish the RL, because they don't need to. See 1/1 the one ring, functionally reprints or Magic 30 reprints - they make tons of money 😅

In round 3 game 1 by naming FOW with Flute I believe you also gave your opponent the line of pitch casting FOW and paying the three extra mana and therefore getting around your vexing bauble. Once Upon A Time is fine as long as you have the 8 tutors, the issue is where you cut space for them. It makes more sense in a Rainbow list as you can trim land a tiny bit, but it comes at a cost of protection pieces to some extent so I'm not really sold. I will try a list similar to yours at some point to see how it feels though, but in the past I've not been a fan and prefer Reclaimer as another smoothing piece since it also shuts down graveyard decks with MD bog atm.

REALLY REALLY LIKE THIS STUFF. been working to make one for ages. let me share a couple of very cool secrets 1 - RAMP THAT BITCH UP try to use a couple cards that not only le you search for cards and creatures, but also let you play them as extra. there actually are a lot: planar genesis, into the north (IT WORKS WITH THE DEPTHS), archdruid charm, wight of the reliquary... 2 - GREEN SUN FUCKING ZENITH use it, use it use it. it's amazing, it does everything you need it to and more, finds combo pieces, tech pieces. put a couple dryad arbor and then it also ramps 10\10 would smash 3 - if you tweak it so to have more consisten land fetching abilities, you can have access to ridiculously powerful and useful tech lands, such as BLAST ZONE(a land boardwipe, and is good!), horizon of progress (it gives multicolored mana, it let you ramp for a reasonable cost, IT DRAWS YOU CARDS FOR CHEAP, yes 1 card), with land recursion they get NASTY. the best part? YOU NEED 1 COPY EACH 4 been experimenting with blue and green, not bad at all, very good draw, very good ramp, counter and control tools... BUT IT SHINES WITH BLACK. It's not ez, at all, but thx to vavimaya and urlborg, and the appropriate amout of land recursion it's surprisingly reasonable. my favorite card is forming he third path look it up,
