Question, are there certain eq settings for slap bass? I've been trying to get this sound for years

None with this video. In general, you want new stainless steel strings and to boost a bit of treble and bass. A good sounding bass helps too, of course.

Thank you! I might not be able to do a video on that but it’s a beautiful fretless bass line in a minor key. Try to pick out the notes section by section. It’s a pretty simple chord progression and he’s doing loads of tasty fills with the notes of the natural minor scale.
