Every Earth Day is special, but here at the American Eagle Foundation we have double the reasons to celebrate!
Earth Day is honored also as the official hatch day for Challenger, the most famous bald eagle. In 2020 we live streamed his 31st hatch day for everyone to celebrate with us! Hi Stephanie, thank you for the kind words. Yes, for the most part, all of the eagles that hang out together in their weathering yard (a large strip of the property dedicated to allowing the birds to enjoy the weather and to socialize) get along at a safe distance. He is really enjoying retirement but still loves going on the road as an educational ambassador for his species! Thanks for watching!
