South African soldiers never fought any real war. This conflict in the Eastern part of CONGO is caused by the Western/EU and the US, in order to take mineral resources. While there is instalibility in the region, many countries are getting rich, so many don't which this conflict to end. The cellphones we are al using today, android, iPhone etc...69% of the mineral resources that make them are found in the Congo DR, it is called ''Coltan'', even many electronic devices. So the EU and the US are the big evil, their political system is to make themselves powerful and while there is bloodshed in Africa. Saddly SANDF is also going there not to fight, but to take their part too, no country is sending their soldiers to fight there, it's all politic, and fake. The UN so called peace keeping mission in the Congo is the longest mission because they are making money, and their job is far from protecting civilians but to counting deads and reporting them. The only thing that can end this war is the Congolese Army themselves and the EU/USA to stop supporting those armed groups. US is behind RWANDA, that small country is like a puppet, they are building their country from the blood of people from Congo.

Sadc or any other foreigners should only come to congo to aid in finding a lasting peaceful solution by ensuring a ceasefire process between two fighting factions of M23 rebels and fardc in order to create bufferzones to implement peacetalks between two fighting factions. Otherthan that sadc shouldn't be lied to think that there's any amount of force can ever defeat a people who are fighting for their own survival and genuine causes that need to be addressed as soon as possible. Sadc has been there they know why M23 rebels are fighting but it's sad that they haven't learnt a thing from their previous mistakes they made in congo and to make matters worse this time sadc is fighting alongside interahamwe genocidiers who carried the genocide against the Tutsis in Rwanda and continue to cause havoc in eastern congo and other negative forces like mai mai militias that are all allied to Fardc and their mercenaries like Wegner who are blindly bombing densely populated areas where civilians are losing their precious lives.

First of all I wann to say a big thanks to South Africa for sending those troops, even if their numbers and materials are not enough. But those 5000 soldiers will have far more impacts than the UN, because the UN was not there to fight the rebels, the UN is a branch of the western countries and they don’t have any interest to see DRC in peace. They want the war to continue so that they can plunder the resources of this country. I hope South Africa can send attacks helicopters there to support ground troops. It’s time for African countries to rely on themselves and not on western countries.
