I try to fly as much as possible even if it is cold. One thing I do is use my tire warms from my rc drag cars to warm up the batteries before using them. It is such a huge difference in performance especially in the cold weather.

Not sure if that is worth it for me. The first one was too similar. Plus, not even full flying stabs. Tailarons is smart though. TAILHEAVY JETS are better if it is a delta wing or if arobatics are your goal, makes sense to keep a F 18 nose heavy. Love your videos, hope to grow a collection half as good as yours, but I need to raise some money lol

Swap meets is really what got me going. AMA website and Facebook has some listed usually. Find planes as cheap $20 sometimes
@gooniac33Күн бұрын
The paint is gorgeous... It would need to be a hand launcher for me though because I hate gear left hanging... FMS would be smart to make the desert camo in the 80mm size!!!! Can't justify this price tho...

Same here..Cant stand the the gear dangling down in flight!

I don’t care for rudderless jets either I had a su27 twin 50 that I made differential thrust on it and made it fly a whole lot better

13:05 i like how you show us part of the process of dialing the plane in, that’s the problem with 90% of my planes, i never dial it in.

The Super Hornet has different intakes and the sides are different, this doesn’t, so its only: Hornet. But other than that, very good video

Im gonna stick with my L39 due to the retracts.
@denverflatpackjedithorntonКүн бұрын
I know this is going to sound like the dumbest question ever but how the bloody hell does it create thrust please??
@Phantom-nn6uqКүн бұрын
There's an EDF inside, Electric Ducted Fan. This one has a 64mm fan, surrounded by a shroud that spins off a 14.8volt 4 cell Lipoly battery pack. Sucks air in through the air inlets and produces thrust out of the nozzles in the tail of the plane much like the real plane.
@Phantom-nn6uqКүн бұрын
Look up EDF, and Lipo batteries and Google will answer your question.

It's nice,not a super hornet its 'C" version. Big disappointment it doesn't have full flying stabs...that would have completed its scale appearance. Like your videos, you do honest reviews.

FMS 850mm Ranger with discount code: a ReferralGarageRC .. that is in that price range. Have some videos up about that plane! And will probably make more. I still fly mine today!

Few companies have them! I agree.. retracts would be great on this. But it does add weight

Prob would not be able to keep 64’s in that price range either tho

There's plenty of foam in this bird to swap in a 70mm on 5 or 6s to account for the additional ounces.@@Jays_rcgarage

@wings9925Күн бұрын
Hmm. I understand why packaging retracts at this scale and price-point would be impossible, but flying with the gear out looks wrong; and if you plan to belly land it then all that ordnance is money wasted
