Watching the video and saying to myself: how can his screen be covered by tabs? Must be doing it wrong. Then playing the game for myself drowning in a sea of tabs…😂😂 I really like this one for doing something unique and it works. Great find

Thank you very much for the support! It is greatly appreciated! Conveyors are coming. 😺 The big challenge with this game is managing all of the dialog boxes that you kind of need to keep track of. This is actually my third playthrough and attempt to get to the end of the game without a window completely filled with dialog boxes. 😸 Some will find this aspect of the game frustrating, but I'm kind of liking the challenge and I believe the solution lies in a good automation design. That said, it's quite a bit trickier than it first appears.

Perhaps the different types of buildings could have tabs to reduce window clutter

I tried this and its slow and boring , also when you put down a wrong building and delete it you lose all resources , Its a good idea but way to slow to get going and its frustrating

Like most factory games, getting started is a bit slow and tedious. In HexFactory, I think you really need to make heavy use of the temp factories and temp furnaces until you have enough resources to make the permanent miners and furnaces. As you expand, it gets increasingly challenging to manage your production lines without a million dialog boxes on your screen. That will likely drive a lot of players crazy, but I'm actually intrigued by the challenge of it. 😺

Why is everything released nowadays worse than Factorio?

Factorio is great, but there are so many other awesome factory games out now if you really love the genre. HexFactory is an indie game that is fun and offers a new experience/challenge for factory game enthusiasts like myself. If you like larger scale games, I'd suggest Captain of Industry, Satisfactory, Techtonica, and Dyson Sphere Program. There are many fans of those games that prefer them over even Factorio. Foundry is another one that is about to release.
