12:45 it baffles me that not every love understands merging in turn.

It's nothing to do with understanding. Everyone knows how it works. It all comes down to physiology of how people interact on the road . Nobody wants to give up an inch and everyone goes I can get in now as they don't trust they will get in later. Nobody drives on theory

Nobody wants to give up an inch, lol it’s funny how some drivers think it’s their read when in fact it’s a public road. 😂

Do you put your handbrake on when stopped at red light, if so what do you need to do for an automatic should you turn the engine off ?

Rule 123 of the Highway Code refers to engine idling, it states “you MUST NOT leave a parked vehicle unattended with the engine running or leave a vehicle engine running unnecessarily while that vehicle is stationary on a public road, generally , if the vehicle is stationary and is likely to remain so for more than a couple of minutes, you should apply the parking brake and switch off the engine to reduce emissions and noise pollution, however, it is permissible to leave the engine running if the vehicle is stationary in traffic or for diagnosing faults”, so, no need to switch off the engine if you’re stationary in traffic at a red traffic light, also, rule 114 of the Highway Code states “you MUST NOT use any lights in a way which would dazzle or cause discomfort to other road users, including pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders, in stationary queues of traffic, drivers should apply the parking brake and, once the following traffic has stopped, take their foot off the footbrake to deactivate the vehicle brake lights, this will minimise glare to road users behind until the traffic moves again”, it’s extremely unlikely that you’ll dazzle drivers behind you in the day time but it’s a good habit to get into.

That’s a very easy test route, not at all challenging.
