-NVDA is a enterprise stock, soaring through the roofs with top profit margins. Where is the world going? AI and Data centers and NVDA has basically no competition (other than AMD). -SHOPIFY is a good enterprise stock with more and more enterprises moving away from their legacy systems and signing up with SHOPIFY. -AMZN has strong enterprise wing with their cloud. -FB is entering the enterprise space. SLACK is just too tiny to consider an enterprise play, plus it has stiff competition from Microsoft, Atlassian, Cisco, Workplace by Facebook, Jabber, and Google. A lot of enterprises are going to do business with their existing vendors (ie Microsoft).

That's not telling the whole story, here is a better explanation of the rationale behind the spend on marketing, www.businessinsider.com/box-spending-will-continue-and-thats-ok-2015-1. They are spending a lot on marketing to acquire subscribers which generally lead to scale and higher revenues. Box has been able to retain most of their customers which proves the stickiness of their product. In addition, their moat is providing AI tools to customers who have access to huge troves of data.

Why cellphones don't sell. Always everything should be included which means pass for first time operations. They don't come with the package. They always have to find the support staff. The complications involved are too high to risk. That leads to downfall. Almost 20% waste of money in support staff.

His referring to the B2B/SaaS companies out there with insane valuations. Atlassian, Zendesk, Stripe, Brex, Duo etc.... From the outside these and others look like pretty good companies so I don't fully agree with him unless he has inside info or referring to second tier SaaS companies. Some of them may not have the legs to go IPO as a single product, but the strategy probably is to get acquired by the big boys anyway.
