This piece feels odd... feels like instead of discovering a story, they decided to tell a specific story and find evidence to back it up... kinda curious what happened with all the other spacs since they only focused on clov, and doing some basic research on clov. It legitimately looks like a potential great buy a current pricing and their growth rate if they can show plans to turn a profit. Reminds me of people 10 years ago saying amazon losses money every year so it’s a bad company, but clearly it was part of the plan to reinvest everything made, (not comparing it to amazon, just comparing the negative spin without reference to the companies future guidance)

exactly. The fools that expected tech companies to be in the green already.. duh! I'm buying the rock bottom for these SPACs. because I have no doubt that companies like Proterra, Lucid, SoFI.. have bright futures. ( well, I feel 92% sure). I love that there are people that are not visionary, because it is easy to build wealth off of their backs of distrust.

So SPACs are IPOs with additional acquisition risk. Because more risk is what IPOs really needed.

SPACs are just insanely overpriced. Chamath Palihapitiya has managed to make a fool of new investors by buying into it. Every IPO the last 2 years has been valued at least 30% above what it should, and it will cost a lot to some investors when the card house collapse.

I was biting till I saw the last chart in this mini documentary. It showed a chart that implies SPCE is down 60% since IPO...it IPO'd around $12.00 per share and is currently sitting over $25.00 per share...its no where near its highs but its still 2x from its IPO 2 years ago...what do you expect to happen to growth companies in a two year period? Thank you for wasting my time Bloomberg

@@stoicroman9423 yes all spacs are underwater, so are almost all other growth stocks too…in fact, so are all most all other high value stocks in the Dow, sp500, and nasdaq. The nasdaq is still 14% down from ath’s genius. Everything is down. A systematic down. With that said, most other spacs are pure money grabs.
