Good to see you and the boys back fishing, Joe. It's rare not hearing Mainiac ice fishermen's colorful language. Except for the cold, can't ask for a better day ice fishing. That 29" togue is probably close to 9 pounds, and that fat 19" trout close to 4 pounds. January can be cold, but the fishing is usually better. The colder temps are encouraging so we get more ice and the season lasts until the end of March. Some years it doesn't get below zero. Those red dogs need to be flame broiled over an open fire. Isn't Chamberlain where someone broke the togue record of 39 pounds a few years ago in open water?

Spent a lot of winters down south and traveling while fishing . My area of Maine, midcoast, doesn’t have the strong accent we have down east and in the County.
