Border Collies are really smart. This one is a Champion Border Collie Sheepdog. The shepherd communicates with the sheepdog with calls and whistles - a border collie's hearing is much better than a humans. The dog responds to the shepherds calls and drives the sheep where they need to go.

I have a Border collie hes super smart and such a kind nature hes a total sweetheart hes not a working dog but has a lot of exercise and plays games most of the day these are my favourite dogs there a fantastic breed as long as you can walk them enough and have lots of time to play there a great breed to have x

@@cassidymorris7293 I have one myself who is just going 8 months i agree there amazing if yours are territorial i would look into a couple of guides on how to correct it you can find a lot of breed specific books now so i would recommend them

I loved my father's sheepdog in Ireland. He was called 'Blackie' & I recall hugging him outside the farm gate when I was about 4-5 years'old.

Scottish farmers have hearts of gold .. I like them .They have a droll sense of humour .......Examples .......Aye I've got a new farm hand ...He is completely useless ..But he is good at it ....Another one was when two Scottish farmers died within a week of each other ....The word was .. Aye boys we have 2 funerals ...One hot and one cold .. ....Meaning one was being cremated and the other buried ...

My dog which was a Yorkshire terrier died Saturday (like 3 days ago) and all what my parents care about is our sheep dog (can’t spell the breed lol) that died literally 13 years ago, and to make up from the sheep dog, we getting another sheep dog next year in 2021 and call it the same name as the sheep dog we had 13 years ago. It’s like they don’t even care about our Yorkshire that died literally 3 days ago

What a great video. I could listen to a Scottish accent all day, as I could watch BC herding. I used to house-sit one and he was funnier than most people. Everybody needs to know a Border Collie at least once in their lives.
