This is exactly what I needed info on. So rather than going to individual breakers and making connections inside the panel, you make those connections inside the transfer switch going through one 30 or 50 amp breaker. Could the same be done with a pProtran2 box? Double pole breakers are only needed if I want to run a hot water tank or something like that, correct? Otherwise all breakers inside transfer switch would be 120v. Thank you so much for sharing this. 🙏

I like the idea of using this over the reliance models to save money on not having to buy another set of afci or dual function breakers. However this essentially is a weak sub panel. All those circuits running off a 30A main house breaker creates a weak point where you could trip the main breaker when running a heavy load (stove, electric dryer, electric water heater etc). The 50A version of this panel will probably be better, but it would be nice if Champion made a 100A version of this panel to eliminate this concern of tripping the main breaker.
