I did an off-road rubber tire/wheel swap on a Basic version of the Pajero, and I had to remove the mudflaps for them to fit. So, that may be why they went with the street Real Riders on the premium.

I saw one on the pegs and left it because there was something wonky with the wheel wells. It just looked "off". Maybe it was a quality control thing on the one. But, if you find one, I'd suggest looking at it closely before bringing it home.

Hot Wheels has the technology to print colors in great detail. I have some mainline Hot Wheels right here on my desk with great colors. Other manufacturers sell cars with nice graphics. I guess until we stop buying them they will keep making them. That is a shame. There are a lot of nice castings in those sets! Love the Caprice! The FJ Land cruiser in Green looks incredible. I like the stripe but would have preferred that it were one color and clear instead of multi colors and mediocre. The Pajero is done well. We have some people here that customize off road trucks with street rims and tires, I kinda like the look. Datsun King cab casting looks cool.

The caprice was Roman’s car in one of those flicks, but I must say it’s one of my favorite castings as of late. People are gonna sleep on it. Think of the customization you can do to this beast. You could have a whole 1980’s police force

Great reviews as always. You know I love how candid & honest you are. You clearly aren’t trying to get HW to send you free stuff like others desperately do. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 My favorite of the Terra Trek is the mainline Datsun truck. I have 2 chases and will take the mainline every day.

I like the FJ. I'm liking flat black more and more. I think it would be cool if HW would not put an interior in cars that have blacked out windows. You can't see the interior anyways, AND the money they save on an interior, they could put into better details on the outside. Maybe even an opening hood or trunk. BTW: I agree that the pixelated graphics look pretty sad. Especially on that Land Cruiser!

I had to pick up the Caprice because its a new casting, I wish Mattel would make a wagon version, I dont like the wheels on the Pajero makes it look like their rollin on 24s such a hoopty FF is great for giving us new castings you really should watch just for knowledge and entertainment

I don't know what got into Hot Wheels with that "race inspired" continental. The car from the movie is the 2010 Continental GT. They used not only the GT3 (a race car, not street legal) but also the facelifted 2018 version. What boggles my mind is that Hot Wheels has made the road going Continental GT, in the form of the 2009 Supersports, a car that would have been way more accurate.

I’m with you…the graphics are awful. In my case, they stop me buying HW! Also hate the way HW does their lift. The chassis is so chunky from the front. Am I the only one who notices? JL, AW, GL, M2 all do better trucks
