Duh. The rules of playing against burn: 1. They always have odd attack turns 2. They always have rearguard turn 1 3. You will never have a 1-drop to defend against it on turn 1 4. If by some miracle you DO have a 1-drop turn 1, they'll have precious pet instead of rearguard and you won't be able to defend anyway Have fun.

This Deck is SO GOOD man! Edit: Okay this actually looks like one of the possibly best Counter Decks for a large part of the current meta - it seems to deal well with Corina Control, Ezreal Decks, and even aggro matchups - Hell, it even was a honorable matchup against KARMA LUX. This will be a must build for me once I finish up my sea monsters.

Ye Be Warned is probably the most underrated bilgewater card. Its a 1 mana give an enemy vulnerability which is already better than give an ally challenger in case it dies but on top of that you draw 1 off the enemy unit dying. That's value for 1 mana.

Just climbed today with a similar build. Been playing undying since beta and love the bilgewater editions. To everyone watching, you can climb pretty well with aggro undying using all in ephemeral and sacrifice or endure undying. Less of a skill cap required to run those as opposed to this one, but I look forward to piloting this one now!

I really love your championless decks. I am looking to build more championless decks for fun (currently an elusive one and demacia/SI control), but this is like the Undying series one. It got cut out and I'm not sure what you are talking about, but if you are talking about Burn in LoR, I was tweeting with one of the Devs and he was very adamant about burn "not going away anytime soon". He even said "I love playing burn, I wouldn't want to nerf anything too much because it's one of my favourite archtypes". This is after I brought up the idea of reducing the burn damage of certain units to just 1 damage when they attack.

I think that the bw version is just better overall bcs sheriff and hired gun are more reliable than en garde and single combat to force your undyings to die. Plus, orange man is also better for this deck than tianna since people don’t really block your undyings.

I think Elise should work well in this strat because she provides defense against aggressive decks. Mogwai said you make up for your lack of defense by using offense, and Elise provides that very well, providing blockers while being a threat

To build free to play. Play expeditions Do harder quests in ai if you need to. Look for a deck list you think you will love and build towards it. I reccomend an aggro deck at first they tend to be cheaper at first and will help you knock out your three wins quickly every day. Take advantage of those three wins everyday if you can. It get annoying if you dont feel like playing but it's worth. I started when beta first opened up had a full collection by the time the new set rolled out and I had a ton of extra for the new set right now I'm only missing 2 Quinn's and a Lee sin. I only count the champs because the other stuff is really easy to come by. Full disclosure I have put money into this game however none of it was for cards just cosmetics to show support

Ethereal Remitter doesn't summon a random card that costs more than 2, it summons a random card that costs 2 more than the card you sacrificed I believe. So if you sacrifice an Undying, you will get a random 5 mana card.

Seeing you absolutely thrash that burn scrub made me feel so warm inside. And it wasn't even close, nor did he have a screwed draw, you just beat him like a pair of bongos. The second one was still depressingly close (the guy was actually smart, not a no-skill facesmash SMorc noob, so it's a pity he wasted that skill on a no-life lamer deck like burn), but it's still nice to see those aggro scrubs just can't cope with the Keeper into Butcher opening.

I've been playing a really similar deck, the only issue I have is that If you don't pull cursed keeper or the undying, the deck gets steamrolled usually. Thankfully that doesn't happen often, but when it does it sucks.

Isn't Miss Fortune really good with this deck? You can attack every turn so she levels up for free while in the bench and you can abuse her ability with vulnerable to chip away at your enemy's units AND she enables plunder for the TRUMP card (the orange man, see what I did there?)

The quirk of Mogwai's Undying package is that he runs 3x of both Chronicler of Ruin and Ethereal Remitter. Those are often used on The Undying, in which case the bench will sometimes get clogged. It's not a huge problem, but it's still something to consider. That said, I don't have all of the cards in Mogwai's list, so I'll try using MF, and maybe take out the Ethereal Remitter for something else. Thanks! Edit: I just tried it out. After a few games, my initial impressions are that MF is underwhelming in this deck. Orange is your only real plunder beneficiary, and the Undying can often trigger that. MF is easy to kill so she won't level up fast enough, and she's a liability on defense because you'll want to keep her alive unless it's absolutely necessary to block. Defense is the weak point of the Undying package, and the 2 bodies that Ethereal Remitter provides mitigates that weakness.
