Why don't you start sending little notes and by little I mean little like "hi how are you" and then on other day you can send another one complimenting something about the outfit. Or you can just go say hi while passing by and same with the compliment just passing by like "hi I like your (example) shirt" I feel that way you make yourself notice and it gives you the courage to talk a little bit more later or the person will start actually talking to you. The notes are in case you are to shy. I like giving notes because it makes you stand out in my personal opinion.

(TωT ) When we initially met online he initiated talking outside of the game. He calls me cutie a lot and always comments on the stuff I say as cute. I had an honest conversation about something personal and he called me sweetie. That is the first and only time he has ever called me that and I found it an anomaly. It did seem like he was keeping himself distant from me after he shared a very personal artwork he drew in the beginning of our friendship. it's good advice though.... i mean.. there is SO much that goes into attraction.. if someone doesn't want YOU, it doesn't automatically mean there's something lacking with you, and it also doesn't mean that they are bad people for not liking you. There are so many reasons why the two of you are not a fit, and if the other person see that before you do, then you can know faster they were not meant for you. you want someone who is READY to go an that date with you. someone saying YES, that they want you - that should be the easy part... actually being together for a long time is the hard part. them accepting you to begin with, that should be easy. If they don't want you, who knows WHY it doesn't matter... don't break your OWN heart, by liking someone so much, before you've even gotten to know them
