This is why COMEDOWN MACHINE is the strokes most underrated album. This is also why JULIAN CASABLANCAS is a lyrical genius(in the realms of cobain and lennon) . His ability to write a CONVERTIBLE song. Very rare that you have a song writer create a pop-rock song and have it read perfectly in a choir, country-folk. The thing is he's been doing it for years. This cover is incredible too.

@maxwelledison11269 жыл бұрын
Well, I just don't see why it should matter whether or not the younger kids actively listen to the Strokes. Doesn't really affect the quality of their singing, you know? Think of primary- and secondary-school theater performances. It's just a bunch of kids reading from a script that was written by someone else, let's say Shakespeare, in whom they might not have a whole lot of interest. But they enjoy acting, just as the kids in this choir enjoy singing, and some of them are very good at it. Surely you can appreciate that, even if THEY don't fully appreciate the artwork they're reproducing.

I don't know anymore When the night isn't ready for you It's a feeling I know that dogs you They invited a stewardess, too Now they want you to see it Here's to days he decides he's got time And he claims that it's not a surprise When he finds out the truth's on his side I take my chances alone Get on your horse and be gone I will not wait up for you anymore So you can ask me if something is wrong Will you go? I don't know anymore I don't believe anyone As they crawl out of my way Waiting for the night Leaving night by night You can see me travel We could be in trouble every night We're having a new life
